TO commemorate the 79th Anniversary of Union Day, the Union-level MSME Products Exhibition and Market Fair (Nay Pyi Taw) is currently held at the Nay Pyi Taw Square. On the fifth day of the exhibition today, large numbers of residents came to explore the displays.
Visitors to the MSME Products Exhibition and Market Fair showed keen interest in MSME products, traditional ethnic souvenirs and traditional costumes, purchasing them enthusiastically. They also enjoyed buying and tasting freshly prepared traditional ethnic foods available at the fair.
The exhibition features ministrial booths, MSME booths from Nay Pyi Taw and various regions and states, stalls selling traditional ethnic foods, business matching programmes, technology booths, agricultural machinery and product displays, small-scale industrial and manufacturing cooperative booths, association booths, solar farms, SKD-priority electric vehicle (EV), motorcycle and three-wheeled motorcycle displays, and CMP garment factory booths.
Officials at the respective booths are providing detailed explanations to interested visitors regarding the exhibited products, the use of locally sourced raw materials, and production technologies. Products are also being sold at reasonable prices.
As there has been a large turnout of interested visitors and strong sales of products, and the event coincides with public holidays, the exhibition has been extended by one day and will now run until 14 February to enable families to continue visiting and making purchases, according to the Organizing Committee.
