DEPUTY Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe received the delegation led by Mr Edward Chaker Chaiban, Deputy Executive Director, Humanitarian Action and Supply Operations, UNICEF Headquarters (New York), yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, they discussed and exchanged views on matters relating to the existing cooperation between the Government of Myanmar and UNICEF, as well as future UNICEF programmes in Myanmar.

Also present at the meeting were senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Regional Director of UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Regional Office, and the UNICEF Representative to Myanmar.
