CHAIRMAN of the Union Civil Service Board U Aung Thaw received a delegation led by Mr Shuplov Aleksei, Chairman of the Russian-Myanmar Business Council (RMBC), at the UCSB office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

During the meeting, they discussed future cooperation in social, economic, and cultural sectors, as well as the provision of humanitarian assistance, in a cordial atmosphere.

The Russian delegation also donated US $5,000 to support the flood victims affected by the recent Typhoon Yagi.

Other officials from the UCSB office and the Russia-Myanmar Friendship Association were also present at the meeting.
