DR Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, received the delegation led by Mr Shuplov Aleksei Igorevich, Chairman of Russia-Myanmar Business Council from Russia Federation at Office No 1, Nay Pyi Taw, on the afternoon of 31 October 2024.

During the meeting, both sides cordially discussed to managing the projects on environmental cooperation and waste management, establishing the direct business links between the members of Russia-Myanmar Business Council and Myanmar’s relevant public agencies regarding the payments on trade of agriculture and tourism and registration a new company and about the activity of Thilawa Special Economic Zone.

The meeting was also attended by the senior officials and the relevant officials from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.
