1. In order to effectively provide security, the rule of law and community peace, the State Administration Council has transferred the executive and judicial power (Martial Law) to the Commander of the Northern Command to exercise martial law in the following townships of Shan State under the Northern Command under Article 419 of the Constitution.

THE State Administration Council issued an announcement dated 10 February 2024 setting the date for the People’s Military Service Law to come into force on 10 February 2024, which was enacted by Law No 27/2010 of the State Peace and Development Council on 4 November 2010, under Sub-Section(b) of Section 1 of that law.

THE State Administration Council hereby enacts the following Law under Section 419 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar: -
1. The Law shall be called the Second Amendment to the Myanmar Police Force Discipline Enforcement Law.
