THE Second Amyotha Hluttaw organized the 4th day meeting of 15th regular session yesterday.
Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than announced substitutions of two Hluttaw committee members with the approval of Hluttaw: to substitute Major Zawana with Brigadier General Zaw Myint San for Amyotha Hluttaw International Relations, Inter-parliament Friendship and Cooperation Committee, and Colonel Kaung Kyaw with Brigadier General Nay Myo Aung for the Amyotha Hluttaw Public Complaint Committee.
THE 15th regular session of Second Amyotha Hluttaw held its 3rd day meeting yesterday.
MP Dr Sai Sai Kyauk Sam from Shan State constituency 6 asked about land of Kengtung Haw Hong (Haw Nan) in eastern Shan State.
Deputy Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Tin Latt replied that the land has been leased out to two businesspersons through a 70-year contract with the approval of Myanmar Investment Commission, and they are operating hotel businesses on the land.
THE second-day meeting of the Second Amyotha Hluttaw’s 15th regular session took place in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday where MPs raised starred questions and amendments to The Minimum Wage Law, 2013, were debated.
Firstly, uninducted Tatmadaw Amyotha Hluttaw representatives took and signed the oath of office in the presence of Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than.
Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than received Ambassador of Viet Nam Mr Ly Quoc Tuan at the Amyotha Hluttaw guest hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed promoting friendship relations and cooperation between Myanmar and Viet Nam and strengthening of inter-parliamentary communications.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw U Aye Tha Aung and officials from Amyotha Hluttaw office.
