President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing made an inspection tour of PyinOoLwin yesterday morning to examine development undertakings and socioeconomic projects.

Upgrading the Anisakhan Airport is one of the important infrastructure projects of the State during the implementation of the first 100-day plan of the new government, said President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing at the ceremony to commission the Anisakhan Airport into service in PyinOoLwin yesterday morning.

The major development projects aimed at strengthening the State economy should be assessed from four perspectives — political, administrative, defence and economic — and that both the advantages and potential drawbacks of such projects should be fully understood, said President U Min Aung Hlaing.

The government in its tenure needs to analyze the prospects of peace and stability of the State and development of the nation, said President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing at the meeting of the Union government at the President’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

​​​​​​​Secretary of the Luang Prabang Provincial Party Committee Mr Bounleuam Manivong paid a courtesy call on President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing, who was currently in Luang Prabang during his State Visit to Lao PDR, at the hotel where the President stayed, yesterday morning.

The high-level Myanmar delegation led by President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing and his spouse Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, currently in Vientiane, Laos, on a State visit, visited the Phonthong Handicrafts Cooperation and Cama Crafts, which is a micro and small-sized enterprise industry in Laos, yesterday morning.
