At the invitation of U Tin Maung Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Mr Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and the delegation, arrived in Nay Pyi Taw on the afternoon of 25 April 2026 by special aircraft for an official visit to Myanmar from 25 to 26 April 2026. They were warmly welcomed by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Ko Ko Kyaw and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport.
