A combined team comprising members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a Mitsubishi Canter driven by Saw Tha Htoo, accompanied by Saw Naing, near Nantsiaung Village in Panglong Village-tract, Mohnyin Township, at 6 pm on 21 April. The police seized 43.5 kilogrammes of opium extract worth K60.9 million and 35 kilogrammes of raw opium valued at K42 million.
