A group of local and foreign journalists visited Nyaung Chaung Village and Pa Din Village in Maungtaw Township, and interviewed the villagers of the two villages yesterday.

In the afternoon, they arrived back in Sittway from Maungtaw, and flew back to Yangon in the evening.
The media group includes journalists from Frontier Myanmar, Black Night Media, AL Jazeera English, BBC, RFA, MRTV and MITV. That was 35th batch of media personnel visiting Maungtaw since 2016.

THE Oversight Committee on Car Imports and Related Activities held meeting No. (1/2020) at the Ministry of Commerce yesterday.
Committee Chairman and Union Minister for Commerce Dr Than Myint said they had announced the model year regulation for car imports in 2020 with Notification No. 60/2019 on 31 October, 2019. He said they also issued Notification No. (2/2020) and (3/2020) to ensure companies, sales centres and showrooms are done so systematically. He urged attendees to discuss the challenges departments face in importing cars.
