AMYOTHA Hluttaw Speaker Mahn Win Khaing Than received Ambassador of Canada Mr Francois Lafreniere at the reception hall of Amyotha Hluttaw building in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed on promoting the friendship and collaboration between the two countries, legislation processes of the Hluttaw, issues of Constitutional amendment, electoral processes, Myanmar Peace processes and the future of democratic federal system.

Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Aye Tha Aung and officials from Amyotha Hluttaw were also present at the meeting.
