​​​​​​​THE Declaration of the Rights of the Child, outlining the fundamental principles of children’s rights was unanimously proclaimed by all 78 member States during the United Nations General Assembly on 20 November 1959.

​​​​​​​TAKING advantage of the fact that some branches of banks had to stop banking services due to an unanticipated situation, anti-government media, terrorist groups and their supporters disseminated this information on social media, pressuring people to take out more cash than they needed out of fear that they may lose it or experience a situation where they are unable to withdraw cash from the banks.

Announcement

1. Under the State Administration Council’s Martial Law Order 10/2023 and the Martial Law Order 11/2023 dated 12 November 2023 (14th Waning of Thadingyut 1385 ME), the SAC has transferred the executive and judiciary power to the Commander of North-East Command and the Commander of Regional Control Command (Laukkai) to exercise the Martial Law in accordance with Section 419 of the Constitution to enforce security, the rule of law and community peace in relevant townships of Shan State.
