IN a bid to portray Myanmar’s cultural heritage, rediscover traditional costumes of men and women from generation to generation and draw the attention of the youth, Myanmar Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will issue two new postage stamps (worth K200 each) at 9:30 am on 29 April 2022 (14th Waning of Tagu 1384 ME), depicting the costumes of men and women in Amarapura era. The new series will be sold at the Central Post Office in Nay Pyi Taw, the General Post offices in Yangon and Mandalay and other post offices in each region and state.
