Frontline Tatmadaw members who carried out security operations for State stability and regional peace around the Muse area in Shan State (North), were warmly welcomed back at a ceremony held at a local battalion in Monghsat, Shan State (East), yesterday afternoon.
The event was attended by Deputy Commander Brig-Gen Kyaw Naing Soe of the Triangle Region Command, along with officials, officers, soldiers, family members, members of the Myanmar War Veterans Organization, departmental personnel and local ethnic residents, who gathered to honour the returning troops.
The personnel had served tirelessly on frontline duties to ensure public safety, safeguard lives and property, and maintain peace and stability across regions and states. Attendees welcomed them back with traditional ceremonial gestures, including the presentation of auspicious leaves and performances of traditional music and dances.
During the ceremony, the deputy commander delivered a congratulatory speech and presented honorary cash awards to the returning personnel. Then, the Deputy Commander and officials had lunch together with victorious troops.
