Malicious news media named Khit Thit is spreading false news, stating that security forces burned down Ywama Village in Sagaing Township, Yaylehmaw Village, in Wetlet Township in Sagaing Region, and Natyaydwin Village in Paungde Township, Bago Region, on 24 January. Residents said that PDF terrorists were burning down houses in the villages and spreading false news. The so-called PDF terrorists robbed goods and cash from the grocery store and burned ten houses in Ywama Village. They also spread news stating that security forces burned down 18 houses in Yaylehmaw Village, Wetlet Township.
