AT the invitation of Mr Konstantin Chuychenko, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation, a Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Attorney-General of the Union Dr Thida Oo attended the 13th St Petersburg International Legal Forum from 19 to 21 May in St Petersburg, Russia. AT the invitation of Mr Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council, a Myanmar delegation led by National Security Adviser Union Minister at the State Administration Council Chairman Office Ministry 1 Admiral Moe Aung left Yangon by air for the Russian Federation yesterday to attend the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues and related meetings to be held in Moscow, the Russian Federation, from 27 to 29 May.

ON behalf of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Union Attorney-General Dr Thida Oo, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Myanmar, located at No 40 (A), 1st Thiri Mingala Street, Kamayut Township, Yangon, at 2:15 pm yesterday to sign the book of condolence opened at the Embassy for the demise of Mr Tran Duc Luong, former President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and former member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam, who passed away on 20 May 2025.

China has delivered its 15th batch of fuel and 16th batch of prefabricated houses to assist Myanmar’s reconstruction efforts following the recent Mandalay earthquake. As part of the 15th batch, the MT YU DONG vessel carrying 2,940.055 tonnes of Octane 92 and 11,930.505 tonnes of diesel arrived at the BRIGHTER ENERGY oil terminal in Kyauktan Township, Thanlyin District, at around 2:30 am on 23 May. The MV Orient Glory vessel, bringing the 16th batch of aid including 1,120 modular (prefabricated) houses and 160 prefabricated offices docked at the Thilawa (MITT) port at 4 pm on 24 May.
