ON 19 July 2026 the 79th Anniversary of Martyrs’ Day monks, laypeople, and the general public visited the Bogyoke Aung San residence museum on Bogyoke Museum Road (formerly Tower Lane) in Bahan Township, Yangon. The museum, where General Aung San once lived, features eight exhibition zones displaying personal artifacts and historical memorabilia. Near the entrance sits the General’s motorcar, while upstairs corridors show restoration photos preserving the house’s original state.
