An awareness session on anti-corruption measures was held in Yangon through cooperation between the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI).
The event held at the UMFCCI Mingala Hall, was attended by ACC Chairman U Soe Thein, ACC members, UMFCCI President U Aye Win, business leaders, officials and invitees.
During the session, officials discussed the role of the private sector in promoting ethical business practices and preventing corruption risks in commercial activities.
ACC member U Kyaw Win Thein and UMFCCI Secretary General Daw Khaing Khaing Nwe also shared information on anti-money laundering measures and issues related to the business sector.
Participants later raised questions and discussed matters related to corruption prevention and compliance.
