Union Minister for Industry and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Dr Charlie Than and the Myanmar delegation attended the 16th International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM, held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, from 6 to 9 July.

On the morning of 5 July, the Union minister and party toured the exhibition of industrial products and attended the opening ceremony of the trade fair in the afternoon together with representatives from 50 countries. Following the ceremony, the Union minister held talks with Mr Anton Alikhanov, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade.

On the morning of 7 July, the Union minister and party attended the Russia-Indonesia Industrial Dialogue. The Union minister also met Ms Olga Slominskaya, director of Skolkovo Technopark and relevant officials of Tyazhpromexport (TPE) Company separately, and toured the exhibition.

On 8 July, the Union minister met Mr Vyacheslav Yarin, Minister for International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region and officials of Sistema Joint Stock Financial Cooperation separately, and they observed the MSMEs of the Skolkovo hall and the Uralhimmash factory in Yekaterinburg.

On the morning of 9 July, the Myanmar delegation arrived in Moscow, and held discussions with TPE, MISIS & Stalproket at Tyazhpromexport (TPE) company, toured the Skolkovo Technopark, and arrived back in Myanmar yesterday evening.
