Hailing the 60th Anniversary of Myanmar Police Force Day, which falls on 1 October 2024, members of the Myanmar Police Force and clerical staff of the Ministry of Home Affairs, totalling 313, conducted a collective blood donation activity at the Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed) and the No 2 Defence Services General Hospital (1,000-bed) yesterday.

State Administration Council Member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Maj-Gen Toe Yi, Deputy Minister for Health Dr Aye Tun, Permanent Secretary U Khine Tun Oo of the Ministry of Home Affairs and relevant officials observed the donation and provided nutritious food and vitamins.

Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae then donated K6 million worth of hospital equipment and medicines to the Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed). Union Minister Dr Thet Khaing Win accepted it and returned a certificate of appreciation.

Moreover, a total of 247 police members and clerks will donate blood on 27 September at the Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (1,000-bed).

The Union minister and officials also consoled Tatmadaw members, members of the Myanmar Police Force, fire brigade and staff of the General Administration Department and teachers who participated in cleanup activities at BEHS (branch) in Hsinthay village in Pyinmana township, BEHS (branch) at Sipingyi village in Zeyathiri township and BEPSs in Ayemyinthaya village in Pobbathiri township in Nay Pyi Taw and provided them with cash assistance and foodstuffs.
