THE Ministry of Education has issued the following instructions as COVID-19 prevention measures for all matriculation examination centres in the whole country in coordination with the Ministry of Health Sports, and beginning from the date (11-3-2020) the exams commenced, all the centres have been observing the instructions.

1. Ask the students whether they have symptoms of fever or coughing or sneezing before the start of the exam.

THE Central Bank of Myanmar released Directive No. 1/2020 on amending the interest rates on 12 March 2020.
The new interest rates, which are aimed at boosting the country’s economy, will be effective from 16 March, 2020 instead of 1 April, 2020.

The Ministry of Health and Sports is closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and spread Than Associate to sign MoU in China and 59 countries around the world, in cooperation with the international Health Ministries and the WHO, and sharing real-time updated information among these organizations.

1. The Ministry of Health and Sports is closing monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19, with conducting surveillance at international gateways and at the hospitals in the forms of people-centered investigation and in coordination with private hospital.

2. From 8 pm 23 February 2020 to 8 pm 24 February 2020, no new case was confirmed for the situation of under investigation.
