Martial Law Order 10/2023

​​​​​​​THE Supreme Court of the Union issued Notifications No 955/2023, 956/2023, 957/2023, 958/2023 and 959/2023 dated 27 October 2023 that judgement power and jurisdiction power over appeals and amendments for judgements, orders and decisions adopted by the IP Rights Court was empowered to the intellectual property court in accord with the Industrial Design Law which came into force from 31 October 2023 in accordance with the Notification No 217/2023 of the State Administration Council dated on 18 October 2023 and Notification No 960/2023 on procedures of prosecution and jurisdiction under the Industrial Design Law.

​​​​​​​THE Supreme Court of the Union issued Notification Nos 961/2023, 962/2023, 963/2023, 964/2023, and 965/2023 on 27 October 2023 to authorize the copyright courts for jurisdiction and jurisdiction over appeals and revisions of judgements, orders and decisions made by copyrights court which are authorized under the Copyright Law which was exercised effective 31 October 2023 as per Notification No 218/2023 of the State Administration Council issued on 18 October 2023, and Notification No 973/2023 on Procedures for Adjudicating Suits under the Copyright Law.

1.Reportedly, armed insurgents entered and attacked some parts of townships in Shan State (North) on 27 October, leaving some innocent people dead and injured.

THE Myanmar Theatrical Association (Central) strongly condemned death of residents and abducting some locals away by insurgents in attacks on Kunlong and Chinshwehaw of Shan State (North) on 27 October 2023.

1.Reportedly, armed insurgent terrorists attacked some townships such as Lashio, Muse and Namphatka in Shan State (North) on 27October, leaving some civilians dead and injured.
