Illegal timbers, consumer goods, vehicles seized

MANAGED by the Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, efforts are being made to take action against illegal trades under the law. On 21 March, an inspection team led by the Rakhine State Department of Forest conducted inspections Taungup Township and seized 3.5544 tonnes of illegal timber (estimated value of K355,440) under the Forest Law.
