THE Information Team of the State Administration Council has released statements inviting CDM staff, students and youths, who are in border areas and ethnic armed groups, they can contact the nearest reception centres in border areas, Tatmadaw units and police stations if they want to enter the legal fold and the government will guarantee their lives following the rules and regulations.

THE Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation designated the area of 3,817 acres in Pauk Township, Pakokku District in Magway Region, as “North Pauk 1 protected public forest” as of 26 August 2022, under notification No 130/2022 by exercising the authority conferred under Sub-section (e) of Section (6) of the Forest Law promulgated in 2018.

AS Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing called for peace talks with ethnic armed organizations-EAOs, the PNLO, LDU and ALP delegations who conducted peace talks in Nay Pyi Taw left Nay Pyi Taw on the morning of 27 August. The PNLO peace delegation led by Chairman Khun Thurein, the LDU peace delegation led by Chairman Kyar Solomon and the ALP delegation team led by Vice-Chairperson Saw Mra Raza Lin went back to Taunggyi, Tachilek of Shan State and Sittway, Rakhine State, respectively.
