Labour Party with its headquarters located at No 33/49, Corner of Maha Bandoola Park Road and Bank Road, Ward 1, Kyauktada Township, Yangon Region, applied on 13-10-2023 to be allowed continuity to exist and register as a political party under Section 5 of the Political Parties Registration Law. In such an application, it is reported that the party name, flag and emblem will be used as described below.

A chemical clean-up of the plants growing on ancient buildings in Bagan has been underway since mid-October. According to the Department of Archaeology and National Museums (Bagan Branch), habitual plants growing on the stupas and temples with high historical and architectural value in the Bagan Archaeological Zone are being cleaned and removed with chemicals.
