UNION Electric Power Minister U Thaung Han led a Myanmar delegation that recently visited the Masdar City Project on 25 July in the UAE, where they witnessed installation 10 MW of ground-mounted solar and 1 MW of rooftop solar panels. Masdar City aims to promote a greener and more sustainable urban lifestyle, showcasing innovations in long-term sustainability and research development. The project’s success led to it being chosen as the host for the upcoming Conference of Parties-28 (COP28) in late 2023.
