It has been known that RFA, a malicious media outlet, is disseminating false information alleging that the Tatmadaw destroyed around 100 local houses in two residential areas in Kawkareik of Kayin State by setting fire and dropping bombs via drone on 21 February. However, reports from the ground and local sources indicate that this news is unfounded. In reality, it was the KNLA and PDF terrorists who attacked the Tatmadaw security forces, using heavy weapons and firearms indiscriminately from a distance. These violent actions by the terrorists resulted in the destruction of local homes.
