THE 36th ASEAN Heads of Specialist Anti-Trafficking Unit-HSU Meeting was held yesterday morning through videoconferencing in Nay Pyi Taw and attended by Representatives led by Commander of the Anti-Trafficking Police Force of the Myanmar Police Force Police Brig-Gen Myint Htoo, Task Force Leaders and Representatives from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam, and Representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat.

IN a bid to portray Myanmar’s cultural heritage, rediscover traditional costumes of men and women from generation to generation and draw the attention of the youth, Myanma Post under the Ministry of Transport and Communications will issue two new postage stamps worth K200 each at 9:30 am on 29 June 2022 (2nd Waxing of Waso 1384 ME), depicting the costumes of men and women in Yadanabon era.

MYANMAR’S COVID-19 positive cases rose to 613,577 after nine new cases were reported on 28 June 2022 according to the Ministry of Health. Among these confirmed cases, 592,536 have been discharged from hospitals. Death toll still stands at 19,434 without more casualties.
