A VIRTUAL coordination meeting was held yesterday at the COVID-19 Command Centre of the Ministry of Health and Sports in Yangon to expand the community-based Covid-19 Diagnostic and Treatment Centre.

1.Barge Singa Besar 2801 towed by Tub Brantas 1301 carrying 466 spun concrete piles weighing some 2,681 tonnes left Lumut Port of Malaysia on 6 July 2021. Although arrangements were made to anchor at Thilawa Jetty of Yangon Port on the morning of 21 July 2021, they faced bad weather. So, the tug and barge took shelter at the seaside, some four miles west of Panga Village in Thanbyuzayat Township (estimated LT-608560). In the afternoon of 22 July 2021, worse weather cut off two ropes, and Barge Singa Besar 2801 floated and was grounded.
