THE Myanmar high-level delegation members led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Irkutsk of the Russian Federation by special flight of Myanmar Airways International yesterday afternoon local standard time for the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. They were seen off at the airport by Head of Government of Irkutsk State Mr Igor Ivanovich Kobzev and party, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Lwin Oo, Military Attaché Brig-Gen Moe Kyaw and officials.
Council members U Moung Har and U Saw Daniel, Council Joint-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw, Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi, Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han, Chief Minister of Kachin State U Khet Htein Nan, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), deputy ministers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Information, military and civilian officials who accompanied the Senior General came back to Myanmar.
During the trips, the Senior General attended holding meetings with officials of the government of the Russian Federation in all sectors including attending the 7th Eastern Economic Forum-2022, holdings talks with Russian Federation President H.E. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, meeting with heads of governments of Republic of Primorsky, Buryatia and Irkutsk, visiting landmarks, universities and factories. Union ministers and deputy ministers also held working meetings in relevant sectors to emerge the positive results in economic sector for the State. It was a successful trip to further cement the cooperation in friendly relations, economic and all sectors between the governments and peoples of both countries.
On arrival back at the Nay Pyi Taw Military Airport in the evening, the Senior General and party were welcomed back by SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, council members, the secretary of the council, Union ministers, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Deputy Head of Mission of the Russian Embassy to Myanmar Mr Pavel A. Klabukov, Russian Military Attaché to Myanmar Colonel Sergei Kurchenko and officials.
As a gesture of honouring the Myanmar high-level delegation led by the Senior General who made utmost efforts for emergence of opportunities to cooperate peoples and businesspersons with each other in friendly relations, economic, health and education sectors of both countries during the trip with the emphasis for development of the nation, ethnic children, traditional dance troupes and local people waited for the delegation at the airport, and chanted “May SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing be physical and mental wellbeing” holding the placards “Warmly welcomed Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who attended the 7th Eastern Economic Forum-2022”, “Specially thank for Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who uplifted prestige of Myanmar in the world”, “Heartily take pride of efforts of Senior General Min Aung Hlaing for Myanmar”, “Let the State Administration Council be successful”, “Warmly welcome” and “Perpetually cement Myanmar-Russia fraternity” from the landing space to VIP lounge and from the military airport to the roundabout, and from the military airport roundabout to International Airport Roundabout, some 30 5x2 feet pictures bearing activities of the trips of the Senior General to Russia, waving miniature flags of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
