THE Committee on Implementation of Stability Peace and Development in Rakhine State organized its 1/2022 meeting in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the meeting, Committee Chairman Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung said to submit the report regularly regarding the implementation of recommendations for stability peace and development of Rakhine State.
The working committees should carry out the operations following the drafted plans especially the development programmes with the project set by the working committee on socio-economic development.
He then talked about the preparations for the Pilot Project at Taung Pyo Letwe and Nga Khu Ya reception centres, Hla Phoe Khaung Kyar camp and reception centres, cooperation works of relevant ministries, working committees and Rakhine State Government and systematic storage of documents and data.
Then, Vice-Chairman (1) Union Minister U Ko Ko Hlaing briefed them on the regional peace and development and resettlement of internally displaced persons while Vice-Chairman (2) Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khine explained the activities of the working committee on human itarian aids and resettlement, accepting of refugees under Pilot Project and work plans to be implemented according to MoU signed by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and India.
Then, the attendees to the meeting discussed matters related to the security and rule of law, collaboration with UN organizations and international countries, immigration and citizenship scrutiny processes and other development programmes of Rakhine State.
The Committee Chairman and Vice-Chairpersons instructed the necessary things and concluded the meeting.
