THE discussion on the “15th Five-Year Plan and Opportunities for Myanmar-China Cooperation in the Next Five Years” was held on 26 November at the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (Myanmar-ISIS) office in Dagon Township, Yangon Region.

The event, jointly organized by the Myanmar-ISIS and the China Foundation for Peace and Development (CFPD), was attended by officials from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, officials from the Myanmar-ISIS, scholars, representatives from social organizations, members of the media from both Myanmar and China, and representatives from business organizations from both countries.

Participants in the discussion independently explored new opportunities for Myanmar–China cooperation over the next five years based on China’s 15th Five-Year Plan.
