The Yangon Region MSME Tazaungdine Fair and Concert began yesterday morning at People’s Square and continues to draw crowds of vendors and buyers of local products.

The fair features more than 630 stalls, including those from industrial zones, MSME entrepreneurs, the Small-scale Industries Department, the Cooperative Department, the Yangon Region Investment Committee, the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), and the Myanmar Rice Federation, as well as regional and state-based local product vendors, food shops, and restaurants. Local products such as clothing, food, ornamental fish, pet reptiles, and Myanmar Thanaka are on display and available for purchase at the fair. In addition, the Myanmar Oil and Oil Producers Association is selling oil at affordable prices, and the venue is bustling with visitors eager to buy.

At the Tazaungdine market fair, a talk show discussed topics such as loans, standards, and support for MSMEs, attracting the interest of business owners and festival-goers alike.
The entertainment pavilion also featured performances by famous artistes, DJs, dance groups, and new-generation singers, making the Tazaungdine market fair even livelier.

People from across the country enjoyed the performances together in a spirit of warmth and community while also sharing rice and dishes provided by the Yangon Region Government, the Yangon City Development Committee, and donor families. To ensure a clean and orderly festival, garbage bins and mobile toilets were provided for proper waste disposal, and shuttle buses were arranged to make travel to and from the festival more convenient.
