The Union Ministers who accompany Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who is currently in the Russian Federation during his working visit, participated in the plenary meeting of the World Atomic Week Forum with the title of “Everything starts with an atom” in Moscow, the Russian Federation, on the afternoon of 26 September.

The plenary meeting was led by Director-General Mr Alexey Likhachev of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM, the Russian Federation, with the participation of Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun, Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin and Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung, deputy ministers and UMFCCI representatives.

In the evening, the Union Ministers and party attended the Russia-ASEAN meeting and joined the dinner hosted by the Director-General of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM of the Russian Federation.
