THE graduation ceremony of the Basic Accounting and Office Proficiency Course No 237 was held yesterday morning at Nawarat Hall of the Office of the Union Auditor-General in Nay Pyi Taw under a hybrid system.

The event was attended by Union Auditor-General Dr Khin Naing Oo, the Deputy Auditor-General, the Permanent Secretary, departmental officials, course instructors, and trainees, while instructors and trainees from the offices of the state and regional auditors-general participated online.

At the ceremony, the Union Auditor-General urged the trainees to apply the knowledge, skills, and insights gained from the course effectively in the workplace, to share accounting knowledge widely, and to continue attending intermediate and advanced-level courses to further develop their individual capacities, to become competent staff capable of contributing to the benefit of the nation and their respective departments.

Afterwards, on behalf of the trainees, a participant from the Department of Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation expressed words of gratitude.

A total of 884 trainees – 370 from 32 departments and organizations in Nay Pyi Taw, and 514 from 11 regions and states – attended the course. The qualification examination for the course will be held simultaneously from 11 to 17 September 2025.
