Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently in China on his working visit, met officials led by Vice-President of the Wuhan University Prof Gong Wei of the People’s Republic of China at Tangla Hotel in Tianjin at 2.30 pm Chinese standard time yesterday.

The meeting focused on measures on satellite technology, assistance of the Wuhan University to turn out technologically qualified human resources for Myanmar, the history of the university, learing of students from international countries at the university, and technological cooperation between the two countries.

After the meeting, the Vice-President of the Wuhan University presented commemorative gifts to the Senior General and they all had documentary photos taken.

Also, present at the meeting were Commission Secretary and Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo, Commission members, the Myanmar Ambassador to China and senior Tatmadaw officers.
