A meeting with veterans was held in Taunggyi Township, Shan State (South) yesterday morning at the Thanlwin hall of the Eastern Command Headquarters.

The meeting was attended by Chairman General Khin Aung Myint (Retd) of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar War Veterans Organization, Patron of Shan State (South) War Veterans Supervisory Committee Command of Eastern Command Maj-Gen Zaw Min Latt, officials from the Central Executive Committee of the MWVO, members from the Taunggyi District Veterans and guests.

The Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Veterans Organization first delivered an opening speech. Officials then clarified the issues related to veterans, and First Joint Secretary BrigGen Myint Hein (Retd) of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Veterans Organization responded to the presentations.

Afterwards, the Chairman and the Commander presented cash to the respective officials. The Chairman and the Commander cordially greeted the veterans.
