The “Diamond Jubilee Myanmar-China Friendship Music Concert” in Commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Myanmar-China Diplomatic Relations took place at MRTV in Yangon yesterday evening.

It was attended by Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and regional ministers, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms Ma Jia, officials from the Myanmar Press Council, movie, theatrical, music and comedian organizations, China-Myanmar Friendship Association, Myanmar Chinese Chamber of Commerce and China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar, other officials, guests, students of YUFL, youths of Yangon Region Youths Centre and Chinese news agencies.

Myanmar Orchestra of MRTV first played classical Yaykin melody, and a total of 11 artistes, including MRTV artistes and external artistes entertained Myanmar-Chinese songs.

China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar President Mr Liu Ming donated 1,500 bags of cement for the reconstruction processes of the ministry after the quake to the Union minister.

The concert intends to strengthen the bilateral relationship and friendship.
