DEPUTY Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Lwin Oo received Mr Harishchandra Ghimire, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The deputy minister expressed his appreciation for the support and assistance rendered by Nepal to the Government of Myanmar’s relief efforts in the aftermath of the Mandalay earthquake. They also discussed matters related to strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
