Myanmar hosted the 10th MAF-RTAF Air Working Group Meeting at the Chatrium Hotel in Yangon on 3 June. It was attended by a delegation led by Chief of Staff (Air) Lt-Gen Zaw Win Myint, Thai Air Marshal Anurak Romnarak, the Thai Air Force Attaché to Myanmar and other relevant officials.

After the ceremonial procedures, the two leaders signed the approvals of the 10th MAF-RTAF Air Working Group Meeting. They exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photos.

The nine-member Thai delegation, led by Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Operation) Air Marshal Anurak Romnarak, arrived in Myanmar on 2 June to attend the 10th MAF-RTAF Air Working Group Meeting and was welcomed by senior military officers, the Thai Air Force Attaché to Myanmar and relevant officials at the Yangon International Airport.

The delegates visited Shwedagon, Botahtaung, Sule and Kaba Aye pagodas, including other significant sites of Yangon like Bogyoke Aung San Market and the Secretariat (former Ministers’ Office).

They returned to Thailand on 6 June and were seen off by senior Tatmadaw officers, the Thai Air Force Attaché to Myanmar and relevant officials.
