AS the Ministry of Immigration and Population intends to compile and publish annual robust population estimates, the Population Department has now invited applications for the position of international consultant.

Based on the 2024 Population and Housing Census data, the ministry will annually compile and publish population estimates to be used in socio-economic development planning and policy-making for the coming years. For this purpose, an international consultant with experience in this area will be selected, and interested parties are invited to submit a proposal.

Applications must be submitted to the Department of Population, Office 48, Nay Pyi Taw, and the application guidelines will be available at www. dop.gov.mm from 12 to 30 May. Applications submitted after the specified date and time will not be accepted.
