DEPUTY Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein inspected the quake-stricken offices and met the affiliated departmental staff in Mandalay Region yesterday.

The Deputy Prime Minister first visited the Myanma Economic Bank Branches 1, 2, and 3, the Myanma Agricultural Development Bank and the Central Statistical Organization in Mandalay and inspected the quake-hit buildings.

He proceeded to the Kyaukse Internal Revenue Department office, Pyawbwe Myanma Economic Bank and Planning Department, Yamethin Myanma Economic Bank and Township Internal Revenue Department office.

During the inspection tours, he met staff and encouraged them to serve in unity per procedures and regulations. It is also necessary to solve difficulties through close cooperation between different ranks promptly. He also provided them with cash and commodities.

The maintenance work is underway systematically for the quake-hit buildings of the affiliated Internal departments in Sagaing and Mandalay regions. Services are offered to the public as usual without delays.
