TRAIN schedules from Mawlamyine to Yangon will resume on 10 May after being postponed as of 6 May, according to Mawlamyine railway station.
The 80-foot-long No 65 bridge located between Hninpale and Taungzun stations on the railroad was destroyed by terrorists on 6 May.
The railway station said, repair works are going to be finished and the train schedules will be resumed on 10 May added that No 82 Up train will run by airbag coaches, it added.
For the day, train tickets will be sold at the railway station's ticket booking counter on 8 May from 7 am to 3 pm, and ordinary class tickets will be sold on 9 May. Currently, Myanma Railways' officials have managed to finish the repair of the blockage as early as possible.
