UNION Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye met officers, other ranks and families of the Homalin station in Homalin Township yesterday.

At the meeting, the Union minister stressed the point that all should always practise to develop their individual skills and skills of military units, and every unit and Tatmadaw member needs to understand the five basic requirements.

He presented foodstuffs for Tatmadaw members and families through officials of the relevant station.

He also proceeded to the Tatmadaw Hospital and comforted the Tatmadaw members receiving medical treatment. He then provided foodstuffs to them.

The Union minister, accompanied by Lt-Gen Soe Tint Naing from the office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), visited the Lahe station in the same evening to meet with officers, other ranks and families and presented foodstuffs to them.
