KBZ Life Insurance and KBZ MS General Insurance provided health insurance cover to a total of 200 frontline health workers including doctors, nurses and volunteers who are working at the Inya COVID-19 Centre in Yangon on Saturday.

The donation of health insurance was made at the handover ceremony of the Inya Centre to the Yangon Region government and the Ministry of Health and Sports.

Deputy Administrative Director of KBZ Life Insurance U Nay Myo Aung presented the health insurance documents to the Inya Centre Working Committee Secretary U Tint San who returned certificate of honours.

Deputy Chairman of KBZ Life Insurance and KBZ MS General Insurance U Nyo Myint said, “We made the donation of health insurance cover to honour the doctors, nurses and volunteers who are rendering their kind and selfless services to the public during this pandemic”.

“The insured doctors, nurses and volunteers are entitled to receive full benefits including medical expenses if they are feeling unwell during the COVID period. Especially, if they are infected with COVID-19, they will get double benefits from this special insurance scheme,” he added.

KBZ Life Insurance and KBZ MS General Insurance, the companies that won international insurance awards annually, are providing life and general insurance coverage to the public nationwide.
