SUBVERSIVE media outlets intentionally spread fake news, claiming that security forces and the township administrator checked motorcycles and detained 20 youths for conscription in Oakshitpin, Padaung Township, Bago Region, on 11 November.

According to a security official, security forces inspected the traffic safety and stability of the township on that day. Malicious media outlets intentionally circulated such fake stories, aiming to defame security forces and mislead the people about security forces. Summoning processes for conscription are underway in accord with the law.
