Members of Tatmadaw, Myanmar Police Force, Fire Brigade, Red Cross Society and social welfare organizations actively participate in cleanup measures and rehabilitation processes in flood-hit wards/villages in Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states.
They conducted cleaning processes in Nay Pyi Taw, Shan State (South), Mandalay Region, and Bago Region. They supported the removal of materials at the monasteries, schools, hospitals, clinics and departmental offices.
Moreover, the medical teams provided healthcare services. They conducted health awareness programmes for the flood-hit victims at the relief camps. Families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy, and Air), departmental staff, organizations, and well-wishers donated relief items, clothes, commodities, foodstuffs and cash to the flood-affected people. The relevant officials inspected these working processes.
The damaged roads and bridges are being repaired as quickly as possible to facilitate the transport.
