THE relief materials donated by the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management (AHA Centre) landed at Yangon International Airport on Myanmar National Airlines flight MNA UB2020 at 1 am yesterday.

Emergency supplies were conveyed via the Thailand Disaster Emergency Logistics System for ASEAN (DELSA) Warehouse.

U Than Soe, Director of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, along with other officials, inspected and received the humanitarian items. The consignment includes 11 types of relief materials, such as family items, personal goods, kitchen utensils, shelter repair materials, family tents, water buckets, tarps, mosquito nets, and water purifiers, with a total weight of 5,560 kilogrammes.

Assistance goods will reportedly be distributed to flood-stricken areas.
