ACCORDING to the review of the ministries concerned regarding the application of the Arakan National Party for the right to continue as a political party and registration under Section 25 of the Political Parties Registration Law, the Union Election Commission found that the party is contrary to the stipulations in Section 7 of the Political Parties Registration Law. The UEC cancelled the application of the party in accordance with the decision of the Union Election Commission Plenary Meeting 11/2024 under the Political Parties Registration Rules (g) on 1 July.
