THE Myanmar-Viet Nam Friendship Association and Viet Nam-Myanmar Friendship Association held a workshop at the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations in Hanoi and signed four memoranda of understanding between businesses on 13 May, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Myanmar merchants presented the ongoing status of trade and investment, avocado cultivation, fish farming and natural fertilizer production. Representatives from Truong Hai Business Group briefed the attendees on their investment portfolios in Myanmar.

U Thet Win, chairperson of the Myanmar-Viet Nam Friendship Association, and his Vietnamese counterpart, Mr Chu Cong Phung, led the workshop.
